Tammey is a social enterprise specialized in youth and community development, operating in Jordan and the Arab world for over 13 years, believing that real change starts with pioneering youth.

الطمي هو تلك التربة الغنية المختلطة بالماء، تُلقيها الأنهار على ضفافها لتُكوّن أخصب الأراضي. وقد ألهمنا المثل المصري القائل:Tammey (طمي) is alluvial soil — rich earth deposited by rivers along their banks to form the most fertile land. We were inspired by the Egyptian proverb:
"الطمي واحد والشجر ألوان""The soil is one, yet the trees are many colors."
وجدنا في هذا المثل تعبيراً عن علاقتنا بالطبيعة والجمال والحكمة الكامنة في تنوع عناصرها رغم وحدة أصلها. فكذلك الشباب — على تنوع مساراتهم — ليسوا بحاجة لأكثر من بيئة خصبة وأطر داعمة لتتفجّر إمكاناتهم.We found in this proverb an expression of our relationship with nature and the wisdom in its diversity despite a shared origin. Youth — diverse as they are — need nothing more than fertile ground and supportive frameworks for their potential to flourish.

تعاونت مجموعة من الأصدقاء الذين يعملون من المنزل لتوسيع إمكانياتهم وإجراء تدخلات أكبر وأكثر تخصصاً. حقق الفريق الاستدامة على مدار العام من خلال تقديم الخدمات الاستشارية، وحرصوا على توسيع الفرص بمشاركة مستشارين آخرين بالعمل والتعلم والدخل.A group of friends working from home joined forces to expand their capabilities and deliver larger, more specialized interventions. The team achieved year-round sustainability through consulting services, and invited other consultants to share in the work, learning, and income.
استأجرنا مكتبنا الأول وتشاركنا المساحات مع منظمات أخرى، ثم قدّمنا مكتبنا الخاص كمساحة للشباب تُظلّهم في التعلم واختبار الأفكار والمبادرات. رحّبنا بعدة مستشارين حلّوا ورحلوا، انضموا إلينا طلاباً وتخرّجوا سفراء واعدين.We rented our first office, shared spaces with other organizations, then opened our space as a shelter for youth to learn, test ideas and initiatives. Several consultants came and went — they joined us as students and graduated as promising ambassadors.
في انتقالنا إلى مزيد من المرونة والإنتاجية والتخصص، قمنا بتشكيل فريقنا الأساسي الحالي من خريجينا الذين جمعوا تجارب جديدة واستقروا في مختلف الدول. نتيجة لذلك وللظروف العالمية، انتقلت مكاتبنا إلى السحابة الرقمية.Shifting toward greater flexibility, productivity, and specialization, we formed our current core team from our own graduates who gathered new experiences and settled in various countries. Our offices moved to the digital cloud as a result.
اليوم، تتمتع طمي بمكانة راسخة في مجال التنمية الشبابية كصوت رائد وفاعل. طُلبت خدماتها وتطورت أدواتها، وولدت كيانات شقيقة تساهم في تحقيق رؤيتها، فصارت كمرفأ ومنار معرفي ميسّر.Today, Tammey holds a firm position in youth development as a leading and effective voice. Its services are sought, its tools evolved, and sister entities have emerged to contribute to its vision — a harbor and accessible knowledge beacon.
