Meeting of Youth Mobility Operators | Alexandria, 2012

Tammey facilitated a meeting that gathered a group of entities specializing in young people’s mobility in the Arab world. The two initiative launched by the Arab Education Forum aim to promote traveling as a means of learning, and to unpack the obstacles in front of such mobility.

Mobility Grants Through Safar Fund

Tammey presented two mobility grants through SafarFund, a program that supports young people from fields of art and culture or social research between the ages of 15-35 to travel between different Arab countries as a means for learning.

Tammey chose to name one of the grants after Hamed Saeed, an Egyptian artist and teacher who founded the school of Art & Life.

The second grand was named after Rox bin Zaid al-Azizi, a Jordanian historian and writer.

Furthermore, our founder, Kamel Nabulsi, hosted one of the travelers in a neighboring experience (Mujawara).
