ensuring youth's engagement and inclusion

Client:
UNFPA & YWBOD
Country:
Yemen
Year:
2021

Context

The mission aimed to enhance youth engagement and inclusion in policy-making at the IRG level in Yemen. With the support of the UNFPA, the Youth without Borders Organization partnered with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) to develop a participatory strategic plan for the youth sector. This initiative sought to provide technical support for creating a two-year strategic plan and to establish a pro-youth strategy adopted by MoYS. The project involved extensive data collection and consultation across various governorates, ensuring the plan addressed the priorities of young men and women effectively. The strategic plan was designed to guide all relevant actors in contributing to the policy’s implementation, fostering a more inclusive approach to youth development.
