Tammey’s team was asked to look into the center’s existing strategy document and review them against the changing context of the center, which included changes in leadership and in how the center and its role is perceived inside the General Authority of Awqaf, being the mother organization of the center.
The sequence of activities that Tammey had to take in the course of this intervention was rather unusual but was a response to the very tight timeframe allocated to it, and emerging developments inside the GAA that related to the center’s scope and potential to receive support.
For example, some strategic initiatives had to be developed before finalizing the strategic direction, and interviews with key stakeholders had to be delayed.
All of that, made this mission a challenging one.
Tammey’s team worked collaboratively with the center’s staff in responding to the abrupt changes in priorities and deadlines. The resulting process can be roughly visualized as in the diagram below.
Two strategic initiatives were developed in collaboration with the center’s staff to better utilize its capabilities
The initiatives and the careful wording of the new strategic direction successfully repositioned the center in relation to the GAA in a way that clarifies the role it is aspiring to.
They are an exceptional team with extraordinary skills and varied expertise, gathered by a passion to serve and build value with clients in unconventional ways. I was very happy working with them and I highly recommend them.
